Subject: Fraudulent San Marino (T7) registration mark
Dear Mr. Secretary General, The Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of San Marino hereby present its compliments. CAA San Marino has become aware of two aircraft who appear to be operating under false documentation and potentially illegally. The aircraft in question are: 1. MD-83 MSN 53124 Registration T7-AKR. 2. MD-83 MSN 53452 Registrations T7-FRI. I would like to inform you that such registration marks are false and illegally utilized as these aircraft had never been registered in San Marino. Looking at tracking websites https://globe.adsbexchange.com/ and https://www.flightradar24.com/ we have identified the following activity:
1) T7-AKR: On 29-30 April 2025 an MD-83, MSN 53124, registration mark T7-AKR departed from Jakarta airport (WIII) and landed in Muscat International airport (OOMS) via Hang Nadim International Airport (WIDD), U-Tapao International airport (VTBU), Dacca International airport (VGHS) and Jinnah International Airport (OPKC). On 02 May 2025 the aircraft took off from Muscat but track disappears after take off and no destination can be discovered.
On 13th June 2025 the aircraft is flying a local flight at Lagos.
2) T7-FRI: On 03 March 2025 an MD-83, MSN 53452, registration mark PK-OCR departed from Jakarta airport (WIII) and landed at U-Tapao International airport (VTBU) via Hang Nadim International Airport (WIDD). On 04 March 2024 same aircraft, but with registration T7-FRI, departed from UTapao International airport (VTBU) and landed to Jinnah International Airport (OPKC) via Dacca International airport (VGHS). On 05 March 2024 the MD-83, MSN 53452, registration mark T7-FRI departed from Jinnah International Airport (OPKC) but track disappears after take-off and no destination can be discovered.
Planes spotters reports T7-FRI parked in IRAN.
Considering the serious implications to safety, I kindly request ICAO to transmit this information to all Member States and request they detain these two aircraft, should they land in their states.
